Weekly view
One week at a time, so visitors can plan when to come.
A weekly calendar that answers “what’s on this week?”
The Weekly View shows seven days at a time instead of a whole month. That makes it quicker to scan and better suited to the question most visitors actually have: what can I attend this week? It works well for studios, community centers, clubs and venues with a regular weekly rhythm of classes, sessions and events.
Above, you can switch between three examples built on the same template and the same Google Calendar events. Riverside Community Center is the minimal version: a warm, rounded style that keeps the week light and simple. Bloom Wellness Studio is the detailed version: a calm lavender and sage style with week navigation and more information on each event. Out of the box is the unstyled default, so you can see what you get before you change a single setting.
When to choose this layout
- Your visitors plan by the week and want to see what is coming up now.
- A full month grid would be more than they need.
- You run regular weekly classes or sessions and want attendance planning to feel effortless.
How it behaves
Events appear on the days of the current week. You choose how they are shown, for example as a list under each day or as compact blocks, and visitors click an event for the full details, including the description, location and add-to-calendar options. If you turn on week navigation, visitors can step forward and back through other weeks. Without it, the calendar always shows the current week. If you want the whole month on one screen, see Monthly View. For a simple scrolling list, see Events List.

Weekly view Event Calendar Widget: Frequently Asked Questions
When should I use the Weekly View template?
When visitors want to know what is on this week. It focuses on the current week instead of a whole month, so there is less to scan and attendance is easier to plan.
Can visitors move to other weeks?
Yes, if you turn on week navigation, which the Bloom example uses. Without it, the calendar always shows the current week.
What is the difference between Weekly View and Monthly View?
Monthly View shows a whole month on a grid, which suits recurring schedules and seeing the pattern of the month. Weekly View shows one week at a time, which suits visitors deciding what to attend soon. Both use the same Google Calendar events.
What is Revisual?
Revisual turns a Google Calendar into an event calendar you can put on your website. You keep managing events in Google Calendar, and Revisual displays them in a layout and style that matches your brand.
How does it work with Google Calendar?
You connect your calendar, choose a template and style it in the builder, then embed the calendar on your site. When you add or edit an event in Google Calendar, the calendar on your website updates automatically.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. The layout, colors, fonts and behavior are all set in the builder. Embedding is a copy-and-paste step.
Can it match my website’s design?
Yes. You can inherit your site’s font, set your brand colors and card style, and choose which details visitors see, such as date, location, description, tags and buttons. The Riverside and Bloom examples above use the same template with very different looks.
Can I show more than one Google Calendar in one widget?
Yes. The Riverside example combines three separate Google Calendars (Workshops, Performances & Events, and Kids & Family) into one calendar.
