Monthly view
A classic month grid that shows what is on, day by day.
A month calendar for recurring schedules and programs
The Monthly View shows your events on a familiar month grid, so visitors see at a glance which days are busy and which are free. It suits anything people plan by date: a weekly class timetable, a program calendar, a venue schedule or a season of events. Visitors move between months and click an event for the full details.
Above, you can switch between three examples built on the same template and the same Google Calendar events. Riverside Community Center is the minimal version: a warm, rounded style that keeps each day uncluttered. Bloom Wellness Studio is the detailed version: a calm lavender and sage style with more information visible on the grid. Out of the box is the unstyled default, so you can see what you get before you change a single setting.
When to choose this layout
- Your visitors think in dates, such as “is there a class on Thursday?”
- You run recurring events and want the pattern to be visible across the month.
- You want one calendar that gives the whole month at a glance, rather than a list to scroll.
How it behaves
Each day cell can list the event names or show a simple count of events, whichever suits your calendar. A day with many events stays tidy in count mode, while names mode tells visitors what is on without a click. Clicking an event opens the full details, including the description, location and add-to-calendar options, and visitors can browse forward and back through the months. Filters can be turned on when the calendar combines several Google Calendars. If you want a shorter view focused on the current week, see Weekly View. For a scrolling list instead of a grid, see Detailed List or Events List.

Monthly view Event Calendar Widget: Frequently Asked Questions
When should I use the Monthly View template?
When visitors think in terms of dates, for example a recurring class schedule or a program calendar. Events appear on the days they happen, so the pattern of the month is visible at a glance.
Can the Monthly View show event names, or just a count?
Either. It can list event names in each day, or show a simple count per day for a cleaner look. Visitors click through for details.
Does the Monthly View work on mobile?
Yes. The calendar adapts to smaller screens, and visitors tap a day or event to see the details. If most of your visitors are on phones, a list or card layout such as Cards List can be easier to scan.
What is Revisual?
Revisual turns a Google Calendar into an event calendar you can put on your website. You keep managing events in Google Calendar, and Revisual displays them in a layout and style that matches your brand.
How does it work with Google Calendar?
You connect your calendar, choose a template and style it in the builder, then embed the calendar on your site. When you add or edit an event in Google Calendar, the calendar on your website updates automatically.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. The layout, colors, fonts and behavior are all set in the builder. Embedding is a copy-and-paste step.
Can it match my website’s design?
Yes. You can inherit your site’s font, set your brand colors and card style, and choose which details visitors see, such as date, location, description, tags and buttons. The Riverside and Bloom examples above use the same template with very different looks.
Can I show more than one Google Calendar in one widget?
Yes. The Riverside example combines three separate Google Calendars (Workshops, Performances & Events, and Kids & Family) into one calendar.
